Sunshine Coast

The pristine surf beaches and rainforest hinterland of the Sunshine Coast is situated just a short hours drive North of the hustle and bustle of Brisbane city. There has always been a debate over where the Coast starts and finishes. As far as the team at RAAS are concerned the Sunshine Coast is as much a state of mind as a geographic location. As Bribie Island is the nearest beach to Brisbane where you can let your tensions ease and feel the white sand slip between your toes, we claim Bribie as the start of the Sunshine Coast. From here we also claim every beach as far as Noosa and everything west to the Blackall Ranges.

RAAS RIGHTS regularly has property listings for sale on the Sunshine Coast in areas such as Alexandra Headland, Bribie Island, Caloundra, Coolum, Currimundi, Golden Beach, Marcoola, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Mudjimba, Noosa, Noosa Heads, Noosaville, Peregian Beach and Sunshine Beach. Be sure to browse our database of properties and choose from a range of holiday units complexes and the occasional permanent and retirement management rights complex. The Sunshine Coast has an area of some 3200 square kilometres and a population of only 260,000 people - that's around 80 people per square kilometre. The area is most famous for its surfing beaches, beach, estuary and big game fishing and a host of world class accommodation facilities and restaurants.

The sun shines around 290 days a year and it rains around 110 days a year. If you think that's too many days then remember, on the coast, just because it rains, doesn't mean it rains all day. Our average year round maximum is 27 deg Celcius and our year round minimum is 16 degrees Celcius. If you like it a little cooler you can escape for the day to the rainforest hinterland and discover the delights of villages such as Flaxton, Montville and Maleny.

The Sunshine Coast is also a great stepping off spot for exploring the southern reaches of The Great Barrier Reef.
Alternatively, the wonders of The World Heritage listed Fraser Island are only a short drive away along the beaches of the Cooloolah region. The Sunshine Coast is such a diverse locality. There is the Pumicestone Passage, a unique waterway that separates Caloundra from Bribie Island. This protected waterway stretches for over 50 kilometres and is perfect for sailboarding, fishing and in the right weather, anchoring your ocean going cruiser while you shop in downtown Caloundra. The northern end of Bribie Island is in pristine condition and can be accessed by permit from Woorim Beach, Bribie in Four Wheel Drive vehicles. From the Northern tip of Fraser Island right down to the Southern tip of Bribie Island and across to the western limit in the Blackall Ranges, the Sunshine Coast offers a little bit of everything that makes it one of  Australia's premier tourist destinations. Your management rights investment can make this paradise your new home and business combined.
