The RAAS Group Enters the Motel Brokerage Market.
OK, while the recent announcement by RAAS Managing Director, Geoff Glanville, that the RAAS group had entered the motel brokerage market, may not have made the national news, the announcement is still an exciting development for the accommodation industry. Geoff is an ex hotelier himself and makes the point that there is now a huge synergy between Management Rights and Motels, while the old groupimg of Hotel/Motel brokerage no longer made sense.
This is because over the last 10 to 15 years hotels have focused on gaming, entertainment, food or all three, while motels continue their focus on accommodation. Management Rights as well are squarely focused on the Accomodation industry whether the use be for permanent residential, hoilday or corporate accommodation. As a consequence the most complimentary industry to motels is now Management Rights, and this is an industry the RAAS Group knows intimately. RAAS is also aware from first hand experience that a huge proportion of Management Rights clients often move from Motels to Management Rights or vice versa. Intending Motel sellers will be well looked after by the new RAAS Motels Division as the huge buyer data base accumulated for management rights will be accessed to also find motel buyers.
To assist establish the motel division RAAS have managed to secure the services of experienced Motel Broker Zane Bary. Zane, in association with Geoff is well advanced with the design of a specialist Motel web site which is expected to be launced early in 2008. In the interim all new listings will be displayed on a dedicated page on this site. RAAS ENTERS THE 2008 Variety Bash
Each Year Variety Queensland, an incorporated not for profit charity, conduct its now famous "Variety Bash" to raise funds for Special Needs Children in Queensland. The 2008 Variety Bash will start on October 2 in Toowoomba and finish on October 12 in Bathurst. RAAS has committed to raise $10,000 for this worthy cause and seeks your support to raise these funds. Geoff Glanville has over 35 years experience in every facet of Queensland real estate from property development, hotel/motel operation, to real estate agency operations, property valuation, auctioneering and training. Geoff looks after the Sunshine Coast and North Queensland operation.
Mike has nearly 26 years experience of the Queensland property scene and is a Management Rights Specialist. Mike and his wife Liz have owned and run their own permanent Management Rights complex at Runcorn, on Brisbane's Southside. Mike looks after the Brisbane operation.
Rusty has over 22 years real estate experience and has also owned and operated his own permanent management rights business and still holds interests in a resort businesses. Rusty looks after the Gold Coast operation as well as helping Mike Butler in Brisbane.
Our Mission is to use this combined experience to provide an informative guide to the purchasing and / or selling of Management Rights and Motels in Queensland and Norther New Souith Wales, Australia. Further our mission is to look after the interests of existing and intending on-site managers and motel operators.
